Session Payment

Paying for The Balance of Your Session Cost

This payment includes:

  1. Pre-session administration;
  2. Travel to, and from your home;
  3. Your in-person session – duration-time of the session is as per my quotation to you;
  4. Session Follow-up Guide.

I offer four methods of payment –

  1. Cash
    1. Payment is due in full, in-person at the beginning of your session.
  2. Email money transfer to my email address karen@ottawavalleydogwhisperer.ca
    1. Payment is due in-full  a minimum of 48 hours prior to your session.
  3. Credit card via Pay Pal.
    1. Payment is due in-full a minimum of 48 hours prior to your session.
    2. A 5% administration charge is added to all Pay Pal payments.
    3. If you want to pay via pay pal, just let me know and I will send you a Pay Pal invoice.
  4. Direct Deposit
    1. Payment is due in-full a minimum of 48 hours prior to your session.
    2. If you want to pay be direct deposit, just let me know at least 4 days prior to your session, and I will send you deposit information.

Additional Payment Information and Policies

Please Note

  1. I do NOT offer installment payment plans.
  2. If you require additional time while I am onsite at your home, you can purchase additional time – fee is 50.00 per every additional 30 minutes. Payment is made in cash while I am at your home doing your session.

If You Need To Postpone / Reschedule Your In-Person Session Date

If you need to postpone and reschedule your in-person session date I require that you provide me with a minimum of 24 business-hours notice – business hours are 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, therefore 24 hours = 2.5 days; prior to the scheduled session day/time.

  1. I accept notice of rescheduling by email or by phone only.
  2. If you postpone your session date you have up to 3 months to reschedule your session with me.
  3. If you exceed the 3 months time-frame for re-scheduling your session,  the deposit you paid (when initially scheduling your session date) is not refundable and will no longer be applicable to offsetting the balance of the cost of a session. I reserve the right to enforce or waive the 3 month time-limit at my discretion.
  4. Your deposit is non-refundable.

If You Need to Cancel Your In-Person Session

If you need to cancel your in-person session I require that you provide me with a minimum of 24 business-hours notice – business hours are 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, therefore 24 hours = 2.5 days; prior to the scheduled session day/time.

  1. I accept notice of cancellation by email or by phone only.
  2. Your deposit is non-refundable.

If I Need to Postpone and Reschedule Your Session

It is very rare for me to have to postpone and reschedule a client’s session date however it does happen on occasion. For example when a snow storm occurs.

If I need to postpone and reschedule your in-person session date I will do my best to provide you with 24 business-hours notice – business hours are 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, therefore 24 hours = 2.5 days; prior to the scheduled session day/time.

  1. I will provide you with notice by phone and/or by email.
  2. I will coordinate with you to establish a new date for your session.
  3. Your deposit is non-refundable.

If I Need To Cancel Your Session

To date of the many sessions I have done with clients, I have never had a reason to cancel a client’s session. However should I feel that I have a valid reason to cancel your session I reserve the right to do so.

  1. I will provide you with notice of cancellation by email or by phone only.
  2. Your deposit is not refundable.
